RIYL: Experimental Sounds, Melodies and Noise
This one is a bit mind boggling. There is a lot to unpack after discovering how Dan Deacon came up with the sounds. Lets just say he had a little help from our friendly house vermin who wind up playing a Theremin. I’m not going to lie; I’m not quite sure what to expect on the record and I’m not quite sure if the music is anything like other Dan Deacon albums. If you are into experimental sounds and left-field music, this one is right up your alley. Check out the video below about the making of the soundtrack and also snag a peek at the trailer to make a call for yourself. This is released on ‘Rat’ colored vinyl, which appears to be a greenish gold, but those are usually just mockups from the pressing plant.
