A friend of mine sent me a link to this album this morning and it’s all that I’ve had in the headphones.  I love the description of it on their bandcamp: “Sounds like Tom Waits and Augustus Pablo smoking opium on the bayou.”

It’s an experimental venture, but very listenable.  I can see this being the alternate soundtrack to “Beasts of the Southern Wild”.

17 tracks for $11!  As of right now, there are only 19 copies left.
