Father john Misty and Marissa Nadler released this extremely limited split 7″ for the Independent Label market day in UK a few weeks back via Bella Union!  They’re covering each others songs on this one, and no need to say it sounds beautiful (it does..)! Misty does a version of “Drive” (from Nadler’s “July”-album), while Nadler takes on “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings” (from Misty’s “Fear Fun”-album).

I’m guessing stock is kinda slim after the Independent Label market day, so I recommend you act fast if you want a copy of this.

The Details

Available from August 4th

Bella Union label mates FATHER JOHN MISTY & MARISSA NADLER take on each others songs for a very special 7” release...

Marissa works her magic on 'Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' (from Father John Misty's 2012 debut Fear Fun), while Father John Misty cruises through a beautiful rendition of 'Drive’ (from Nadler's neoteric LP July). This one-off vinyl pressing has no A-side, and therefore no B–side, it is equitable and without prejudice. Two enigmatic photos make up the monochrome sleeve and with black labels on each side, this is for those of you who walk in the shadows on the other side of the pavement from where the sun shines…
