Yuck hails from London, England and is likened to such acts as My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, and Pavement. Those are some heavy names to be put alongside, but hey, they live up to it!!

The big deviation between their eponymous debut and Glow & Behold, is that the lead vocalist has been changed!! Daniel Blumberg has left the band to focus on his own solo endeavors and we now see Max Bloom filling in these shoes.

Mannnnnn.. I want to like this but it sounds nothing like Yuck (the first album). Way too "pretty". Why not change the band name? Not sure I could ever come to terms with this....

Patrick from Fat Possum USA said in an e-mail reply that they are pressing them on good old black wax. Hence the 10$ record.

I've heard of Yuck before but never got around to looking them up. Just ordered this and the s/t, two different sounds but I like them both!

I only heard about these guys recently ("Rebirth" gets a lot of airplay on KEXP in Seattle), so I had no expectation of how they should sound. The tracks are stylistically sort of all over the place, but I enjoy it quite a bit (oddly, there's a song in there that sounds a lot like Lush, of all things).

I ordered my copy directly from Universal Music in the UK (and paid way too much - I was unobservant and didn't see the link to the Fat Possum site). I can tell you for certain that the pressing is definitely on black vinyl. It's a shame, white would have looked really cool!

I'm on the same boat! A ton of blogs reported a white vinyl release with the deluxe edition. It is not the case people! It is black! I should've grabbed the 10$ Fat Possum... Although the UK version is heavy as hell! I want to say it's possibly 220 Grams! When compared to my 180gram records.
