Am I the only one disappointed with the low-res cover artwork? I'm a designer so I know it's hard for me to NOT notice, but it seems like a pretty significant ball-drop for it to go to print like that, while the rest of the artwork is pristine.

The options were, go with original artwork and have some soft pixelation or redesign the whole thing. Higher res art didn't exist. Kingston (88 Ultra) had created that himself and wanted to keep it. Also we decided to take his original art which included the nudity. We at SlyVinyl created the rest of the art for the package, hence, why the art was all crisp everywhere else.

We are definitely all about the highest of quality at SlyVinyl, but more important than that to us, is creating a record that is the vision of the artist we're working with. In this case, that came along with a bit of pixelation. I'm sorry if that is a downer, and can totally understand, but I am personally happy to have the original art rather than a replacement, but again it came down to band preference which trumps.

This pressing turned out amazing regardless, but thanks for explaining, I was actually wondering why I couldn't find high-res "original" cover art for my digital copy... Also, I think I am going to start a band called Pixelated Nipples.
