I’m somewhat back and forth on this one. Don’t get me wrong, the music is great, but we all know how everyone feels about the film. The colors of vinyl are named after characters and space stuff, and I’m happy to note that there is no Jar Jar Binks color way. Also where does the line of “limited edition” end? I mean there are 8,000 colored vinyl records getting pressed. Is that limited? So anyways, you tell me what you think. I’m not sure where i stand, one side, good OST & sweet looking vinyl – Other side, a movie that hurts the name of Star Wars & fuax limited vinyl status.
For the very first time ever on limited edition vinyl, I Am Shark, will be releasing the original soundtrack to Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, scored by legendary composer John Williams. This will be part one of three, continuing on the latest trilogy soundtracks, as well as I Am Shark’s new face as an independent label for Film/TV/Game soundtracks. The release will be in 2xLP format, with limited color versions coordinating with characters through out the movies. I’ve attached mock up photos for a relative idea of what we have envisioned for the colors. Ship date: March 4th, 2013
50 limited bundle packages will be available with all colors/pressed versions, one random winner will receive a test press version of the album (only 10 test press copies exist).
This is a pre-order item, ship date TBA, but will be around estimated time depending on production and manufacturing delays. If you order this item along with in stock items, in stock items will be held and shipped together when this pre-order item is ready to ship.
