You still bitchin’ and moanin’ about the scarcity of good rock and roll in 2015?  Step away from that scathing Youtube comment for a sec and have a listen to the Milwaukee-brewed Platinum Boys. They’ve churned up 9 tracks of unpolished, scuzzy hootenanies with an excess of guitar wails, sing-along choruses, hops and high fives to quench your beastly party thirst.  This is a band that skipped the subgenres and went straight to the classics.  When they were kids, daddy discarded the lullabies and played ’em KISS, Nugent, Judas Priest and Lynyrd Skynyrd instead.  From then on, it was riffs, bongs, pilsners and skirts…rinse and repeat.

If you’ve recently picked up vinyl from the likes of JEFF The Brotherhood, Free Energy or Twin Peaks, then you should grab a cold one (particularly of a Milwaukee variety), throw a burger on the grill and preorder the f-ing hell out of this.  50 ain’t a lot to go around, comrades.
