Pete Bassman? THEE Pete “Bassman” Bain of Spacemen 3? Yup, you got that right!

H√∂ga Nord Records has just released the first proper solo-album by¬†Pete Bassman, after dropping the brilliant “Small¬†Town Illusion/Poison Butterfly”¬†7″ back in 2014. It’s been a few¬†years since he was active¬†with The Darkside, Alpha Stone and not least Spacemen 3, but as known¬†legends never¬†rust. Pete¬†has been occupied in his studio in Rugby over the last years, and H√∂ga Nord Records has been so priviledged as to get to assemble¬†this album in close coop with the man himself. ¬†“Lost In Space” is a mandatory trip for any psychhead, railing from the atmospheric, ambient album-opener¬†“Music For Modern Living” to the groovy drone of “Wolf Eater”. Expect spaced¬†out analogue synths, sitars, dark drones and perfect basslines.
