UK’s psychedelic indie-outfit Palm Honey recently dropped their second slate on wax, “Tucked Into The Electronic Wave”.

Palm Honey proved to be an exciting act in the UK Indie-scene with last years’ debut single “You Stole My Blackout / Bones”, which showcased their flair for sonic explorations in a most brilliant way.

“Tucked into..” follows up on this in a most delicate way, with 4 catchy Indie tunes marinated in Shoegaze-sauce, flavored with Kraut-powder and cooked in a Psychedelic pot at an open flame. Instant treat, but with the 2nd+ serving the flavours really start tickeling your tongue. Every bit as tasty as your Irish uncle’s famous Broiled Steak with Whiskey Sauce.

The Details

12" Vinyl (Tucked Into The Electronic Wave) EP

A SIDE *Palace / Stick The Knife In

B SIDE *Going Normal / I Can Try

‘Tucked Into the Electronic Wave’ is an extraterrestrial art-rock supernova, with tinges of krautrock, electronica, shoegaze, post-punk, psychedelia, and even a little jazz. It’s hypnotic, melodic and chaotic. The sound of a band making their statement of intent. Thematically, the EP is introspective; frontman Joseph Mumford mostly sings about his neurosis, and the discomfort that comes with being a young adult in a demanding world.
