Despite this album coming from a former punk rock band member, Electric Hawaii presents lively, engaging music with carefully crafted sonic layers of light and dark. The new sounds incorporate some Polynesian backgrounds to a blend of beatnik psychedelica which makes for modern and jazz-like music.

While Electric Hawaii is available in Australia, it will not be available in the United States until August.
