UK’s psychedelic, experimental noise-makers One Unique Signal‘s latest effort “Hoopsnake” is up for grabs!
Originally planned as a second disc to their previous album, the Sonic Boom-mastered “Aether”, this project has evolved into a full album far too good not to deserve a release of it’s own. The album originates from one single riff looped down and recorded in two different versions (one loud, guitar driven/ one softer synth passage),  sent back and forth to some 20+ collaborators (including The Telescopes‘ Stephen Lawrie and The Oscillation‘s Demian Castellanos), and finally mixed down to the 4 parts that inhabit the album. Each part is a 12-16 minute trip that vary from the dark and intense psychedelic rock-monster of part 1, to the feedback and organ-ridden, almost ambient part 4. The tension never let’s off, but simply switch forms throughout the four parts in a most hypnotizing way.  One Riff to rule them all..
These guys are all part of the legendary The Telescopes, so there’s really no wonder that they managed to pull off a stunt like this..
I sincerely hope there will be a stream of this up soon enough for anyone on the fence to snag a Deluxe Edition, you don’t wanna miss out I tell ya!  I’ll make sure to share ASAP once I get notice.
*As usual Fuzz Club Records goes all-in on their Deluxe Editions, and this one comes on 180g solid White with Black Splatter and a heavy gatefold sleeve with embossed logo.
*In addition to the Deluxe- there’s also a Standard Edition available Limited to 500 copies on 180g heavy White Vinyl (HERE)
We're very happy to announce the first Fuzz Club release with One Unique Signal, titled Hoopsnake. The group's experimental process has seen them undertake a monster-sized collaboration with 25 artists who all contributed music inspired by a single riff. The combined offering comes to us in the form of four 10 minute tracks that explore repetitious sonic terrains through the group's typically masterful noise.
The deluxe edition is 180g solid white with black splatter and a heavy gatefold sleeve with embossed logo (200 copies), exclusive to the Fuzz Club store. It is also available in standard edition on 180g heavy white vinyl, limited to 500 copies. Also available on CD and cassette. Albums will be shipped mid March.
