RIYL: Ministry, John Maus, The Soft Moon

Label: Funeral Party

It’s been 4 years since Kentucky darkwave duo Night Sins has released a full-length, but they’ve emerged through the bog once more and assembled 9 new tracks gurgling with eery synth leads, heavy percussion drenched in reverb and lyrics caked in melancholy.  If John Maus had fronted Ministry in 1983, you’d have something sounding like Night Sins.  Fans of Joy Division, early Cure and the juggernauts from goth rock’s heyday will find warmth in Night Sins’ cold embrace.

There are only 8 copies left of the colored vinyl, so get your listen in quick or these hot rods are gonna sell out and you’re going to cry and smear your eyeliner.  And nobody wants that.  Nobody.
