Menomena‘s sophomore album, “Friend And Foe” is truly one of the best albums from one of my all-time favorite bands! Vinyl Me, Please is repressing this beauty for their April release, and I could not encourage you to snag this more.
Even though this is just a single disc, the jacket, illustrated by cult graphic novelist/cartoonist Craig Thompson, is so elaborate that it was nominated for “Best Recording Package” at the 2008 Grammy Awards.
– Six-panel Gatefold Cover
– Rotating front + die-cuts for track listing
– VMP Edition Foil Stamp
– 12”x12” Art Print (inspired by the album)
– Custom Menomena Cocktail Recipe (paired with the music)

“Available only to Vinyl Me, Please members, this special-edition pressing of Menomena’s Friend and Foe includes 180g vinyl and Grammy-nominated packaging designed by graphic novelist Craig Thompson.
Out of print for several years, the record has become highly sought after by fans and collectors. The record comes in a six panel gatefold cover with a front that can be rotated to show different designs through the cut-outs on the cover, including the track listing.
Accompanying the album is an original 12” x 12” art print also by Thompson derived from the Wet and Rusting EP, and an original cocktail recipe to complete the listening experience courtesy of Sean Kenyon, barman proprietor of Williams & Graham, Denver, CO.”
