Like many other fans of Third Man Records, I found out about Low Cut Connie after they opened for The Shins when they cut their live-to-acetate record at Third Man headquarters in Nashville.  Low Cut Connie’s blend of honky tonk piano numbers and soda parlor two-step from the birth years of rock and roll made them a perfect candidate for Third Man’s vested interest in all things Americana.
They’re back with a new album, and if you’re into the Stones as much as Jerry Lee, you’d best finish up whatever you’re doing and follow that buy link to the pink wax, ’cause it’s rarer than a flame-kissed filet.
