RIYL: Cocteau Twins, Dif Juz

Label: Bella Union

Lost Horizons is the collaboration between two stellar musicians, Cocteau Twins’ Simon Raymonde & Dif Juz’s Richie Thomas. Ojalá is two creative masters molding an atmosphere for other great singers to blend their voices with. The list of singers is extensive, including Marissa Nadler, Tim Smith (ex-Midlake), Cameron Neal (Horse Thief), Leila Moss (The Duke Spirit), Hilang Child, Sharon Van Etten, and More. This is a pricey little bugger, but the release looks pretty awesome, including a zoetrope as the picture disc. Their facebook site has it in action and it’s pretty frickin’ cool.

There are a few places to get this so go for it. Over at Pledge Music, you can get the picture disc signed by the band for 45 bucks (buy now link). The others would be Bella Union, or their bandcamp site, both UK outlets that sit at 46 bucks and international shipping (not signed). Enjoy.

Snag the grey and blue vinyl limited to 800 from rough trade for 34.99.
