This found its way to my ears in thanks to Canadian radio personality/music journalist Alan Cross. Alan runs¬†a cool blog¬†that has¬†his own namesake and he’ll often post little known¬†facts, his own stories and music like this – obviously, I recommend you check it out. As for the tape, I believe this happens to be Kill West’s debut full-length. This Argentinean psychedelic¬†five-piece had an EP released prior to this last year, but that’s about it it looks like… which means you’re getting on the boat at just the right time.¬†Smoke Beach beats down on you like the hellish sun’s rays on the hottest of summer days – this also happens to be a prime summer album. This is something you need to listen to, front to back, in order to get its full effect – you can’t skip around on this. Listen to¬†Smoke Beach via the Bandcamp player below and see what you think of it. Cheers!
