This found its way to my ears in thanks to Canadian radio personality/music journalist Alan Cross. Alan runs a cool blog that has his own namesake and he’ll often post little known facts, his own stories and music like this – obviously, I recommend you check it out. As for the tape, I believe this happens to be Kill West’s debut full-length. This Argentinean psychedelic five-piece had an EP released prior to this last year, but that’s about it it looks like… which means you’re getting on the boat at just the right time. Smoke Beach beats down on you like the hellish sun’s rays on the hottest of summer days – this also happens to be a prime summer album. This is something you need to listen to, front to back, in order to get its full effect – you can’t skip around on this. Listen to Smoke Beach via the Bandcamp player below and see what you think of it. Cheers!
