The Sons are back to save the weekend!  The self-titled debut album by Jesus Sons released via Mock Records back in January still stands out as one of my definite favourite albums of 2014. Blending old school rythm and blues with jangly garage rock, they’ve managed to cook up the purest form of good times rock’n roll. The new 7″ “Better Times” brings more of those feet-stompin’ grooves and that proud-to-be-American attitude that made the album such a highly enjoyable and fun effort. You can really tell that Brandon Wurtz (ex Spyrals) and the gang are having a blast performing and recording their tunes. Maaan, I hope I get to experience these guys live someday!

“Better Times” is out  on November 11. via Mock Records, limited to 100 copies on Swamp Green-, and 100 Black Vinyl 7″.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND CHECK OUT THE DEBUT-ALBUM HERE IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY! The initial pressings are way gone, but luckily Mock Records has cooked up another batch!
