RIYL: Spliffs, Riffs & Hieroglyphs

Label: Dine Alone Records

Nashville brotherly duo Jake and Jamin have been climbing Mount Rock for a decade and a half now, touring the globe and winning over the bros, bongheads and beach babes in the process.  It’s safe to say that they’ve earned their rightful place as frontrunners for rock and all of its subgenres, diving into everything from transcendental psych jams to garage punk to party anthems and beyond.  Along with Ty, Thee Oh Sees and a handful of others, JEFF have helped keep rock and roll relevant and fun in 2016.

Surprisingly, JEFF isn’t releasing their newest full length on Infinity Cat, choosing the Canadian label Dine Alone Records instead to crank out the limited product.  That means this one is going to cost you a bit more after shipping, but cmon…you know you want this one.   Check out the newest single Punishment below, and while you’re listening, I give you permission to bitch and moan about vinyl packages that come with tote bags.
