WORLD PREMIERE! We here at SlyVinyl are extremely excited to be the first site on the planet to premiere the upcoming EP by Manchester-based garage-rockers Fruit Tones!

Fruit Tones squeeze a powerful blend of garage, psych and punk into this catchy-as-f*ck energy-boosting fruit-punch!
The vocals are raw and reverbed (with just the right amount of attitude), the bass pounds with thick chunks of awesome, the drums are tight’n snappy (containing some great fills to thicken the juice), and the guitar tops this treat off with some sweet riff-coating for maximum flavour! All four tracks are short’n sweet, and based on fresh, natural ingredients. No concentrate or artificial sweeteners, this sh*t is premium!

These guys are quickly gaining reputation after a couple of split releases with The Pink Teens & Deathcats, as well as opening acts for King Khan & the Shrines, Jacuzzi Boys & Kid Congo. I’m pretty eager to dig in a full plate in the near future, but for now lets enjoy this nutricious smoothie.

The 7” is limited to 500 copies on Yellow w/ Black Splatter Vinyl, and is out on November 10th. For a limited time until release, you can snag this juicy fruit for 6$, which by european standard is practically for free.

Huge thanx to the excellent UK-label Stolen Body Records, for allowing us to premiere this awesome slab!

Fruit Tones is a rock & roll cult formed in Manchester 2012 featuring members of local groups Peace Signs, The Bell Peppers & Kult Country. They play a fruity blend of wild & thunderous garage punk, given a sweetly shambolic pop touch. Their songs are brief, to the point and every one a potential hit single.

Following recent appearances on compilation records by well respected independent labels Only Joking, Fuzzkill & Fluffer Records, Fruit Tones’ much anticipated debut 7” EP entitled “Some Strange Voodoo” will be released Monday 10th November 2014 on Stolen Body Records.
