FIDLAR have made quite a name for themselves in the brief 4 years since their messy conception.  Their self-titled 2013 full-length sent them on a smashing, romping, coke and whiskey-fueled tour with The Hives, and they’ve slapped dicks with The Black Lips and partied/blacked out with Wavves.  L-I-V-I-N, boys.
Their sophomore effort is titled Too, a word that perfectly encapsulates the group’s penchant for excess. Â If you like your rock and roll peaking in the red and your vocals torn and frayed from a diet of Camels and Coors Lights, bend an ear towards FIDLAR.
The 7″ is on ‘golden beer’ colored vinyl and is limited to 500, so that may sell out before the LP does. Â Get while the getting’s good, and if that shipping is a bit too steep, take a few shots of Jim Beam and come back to it in an hour. Â Maybe your decision-making will be pleasantly skewed by then.
Also, this may be one of my favorite music videos of the year so far. Â See if you can name all of the music video references!
The LP is limited edition splatter color vinyl and the only way to get this color is through the pre-order. For an additional $5, you can add a limited edition 7” of “40oz. On Repeat/West Coast.” The first 500 copies will be Golden Beer colored vinyl and the only way to get this color is through this pre-order.
