The Third Man Records fans want Americana.  They want that old time rock and roll, wrapped in red, white and blue semi-automatic rifles covered in deep-fried mayonnaise.  Third Man Records answered their bellowing requests with a stiff middle finger right up their apple pies.

Say hello to Timmy’s Organism, Wolf Eyes and VIDEO.  Arguably the coolest and most polarizing move the label has made in years, all 3 of these sludgy metalpunk gutter freak bands are getting full-length vinyl treatments from Jack White’s label of collectibly delectables, and all 3 are playing Third Man’s Devil’s Night in Nashville on Halloween.  Per usual, you have to be there to get the limited stuff.  WOMP f-ing WOMP.

But wait.  If you have some extra green paper in your g-string, throw it Rough Trade’s way, ’cause they’re holding 35 copies of VIDEO’s The Entertainers, otherwise exclusively sold in Nashville.  It’s made from dollar-bin records turned inside out, slathered in paint and put together at Third Man’s studio.  However Rough Trade acquired them all the way across the pond is beyond me, but now’s your chance to get a TMR rarity without booking a plane ticket.

Is it expensive?  Of course it is.  Will it sell out?  Of f-ing course it will.
