Spray Paint are an Austin-bred group of post-punk noisemakers and purveyors of the dissonant arts.  They throw an extra dose of ghost pepper hot sauce on their breakfast tacos, and prefer activities of the boisterous and perilous variety.  Life’s too short to play it safe.

Fans of L.A. stinkbombs No Age and the delectably mouthy works of Mark E. Smith should find solace in the grinding, driving fuzz that is Spray Paint.  Lead single Day of the Rope squirms along with the intensity of mid-80s Sonic Youth and the deadpan irreverence of Parquet Courts.

The word ‘deluxe’ is thrown around so often with vinyl these days, it rarely lives up to the meaning…but the limited version of Punters on a Barge will have a hand-numbered, silk-screen die-cut cover with 4 color separations.  Sounds f-ing cool, boys.  And if you need another sample from the album before ya buy, check out another cut HERE.
