RIYL: Jay Reatard, Nobunny, Ty Segall

Label: Greenway Records

Manchester garage power rock trio Fruit Tones have a fresh new crop of juicy morsels for you to bend an ear on.  Their first long player since 2013’s cassette-only split with Pink Teens, the boys have teamed up with New York label Greenway Records to kick out some head-knocking stompers and rock and roll rompers.  It’s a straight-up gimmick-free affair here, a lofi buzzin’, guitar fuzzin’, drinkin’ a dozen kind of vibe.  Impossibly fun and loud AF, Fruit Tones are gonna get along splendidly on your record shelves in between your Ty collection and your Nobunny LPs.

Greenway only has 150 copies of the record on a multi-colored splatter colorway, and those will sell out pretty quick I’d imagine.  For a couple bucks less, you can grab it on orange wax too.  Check out the infectiously cool music video for I Know Where Love Comes From below and grab some wax after the ‘buy’ link.
