UPDATE: HEAVENLY SOLD OUT OF THIS. STILL COPIES AVAILABLE AT RECORDSTORE.CO.UK, I HAVE UPDATED THE “BUY NOW”-LINK TO REFLECT THIS.
British band TOY have a new single out in April from their second album “Join The Dots”. This fine bunch has a lot in common with their labelmates Temples, and also bears some resemblence to The Horrors. TOY does somehow rely on a more heavy motorik/kraut-vibe, fundamental to their psychedelic recipe. This track is amongst their more pop-oriented, and could almost fit in on Ride’s “Leave Them All Behind”-album. No doubt about their british indie-heritage! As their earlier limited releases, this is bound to sell out fast.
I’ve added the latest album to the Spotify-player, as these guys are well worth digging into!
To clear things up, this is the standard version limited to 300 copies. There is also 200 screen-printed copies available from selected record stores on the day of release.
