RIYL: GOAT, Dead Skeletons, Spiritual hymns and psychedelic chants

Label: Fuzz Club Records

TAU is the sound of mother earth channeled through the minds and vessels of a collective of gifted musical medicine-men.  Nunitz (Shaun Mulrooney of Dead Skeletons, Camera)  and Tiger (Christoph Bartlett of Kadavar) first summoned the shamans for their previous EP “Wirikuta” last year (STREAM), which presents a trancendental experience through 4 spiritual, psychedelic chants that combines the pulse of nature with some of the finest sounds the neo-psychedelic movement has to offer. Their debut-album is out via Fuzz Club Records on September 9th, and you have my guarantee that it will both elevate your body and lift your spirit. Nunitz describes their sound as “songs of praise” in English, Spanish and Gaelic, shaken through prehispanic drums, bells, shakers, synths and acoustic guitar played “through an amp with a very shitty pick up that gives a weird sound.”  Sounds just about as perfect as it gets to me!

The Details

TAU TAU TAU is a wild archaic scream from the heart, woven from a seamless thread of prayers, chants, psychedelic invocations, and as Tau's Nunutzi says “songs of praise” in English, Spanish and Gaelic, shaken through prehispanic drums, bells, shakers, synths and acoustic guitar played “through an amp with a very shitty pick up that gives a weird sound.”

Tau Tau Tau deluxe vinyl comes on 180g milky white vinyl, heavy gatefold cover and printed inner sleeve. Limited to 200 copies.

The album will be shipped the first week of October.
