We don’t see a lot of write-ups here at Sly for the ‘Live LP’.  Pyramidal, psych gurus from Spain, have unleashed a taste of their live sound on wax.  If you were to stumble upon their bedrooms when they were adolescents, you’d probably see an Amon Duul II poster, a sweaty Hawkwind tour shirt thrown in the corner, a freshly-used weed-smoking apparatus that they’ve nicknamed Hack Sabbath and a complete set of Quantum Leap DVDs…’cause that show is f-ing trippy, man.
While the word ‘live’ is in the title, you could’ve told me this was recorded in a studio and I wouldn’t have blinked.  This is a stellar recording of a very talented group of psych warriors.  If you wave a 50-starred flag, this one will set you back a bit more.  Mow a few more lawns or open up a lemonade stand this weekend if you’re worried about it.
