RIYL: Ryley Walker, Acid Mothers Temple, Fairport Convention

Label: Sunstone Records

When Sunstone Records comes out with new product, you know it’s going to be quality. ¬†Meet Plastic Crimewave Syndicate, a supergroup of sorts¬†including the wayward wandering acoustic stylings of Ryley Walker, vocal enchantments from Judy Dyble of Fairport Convention fame, flute additives and other out-a-sight oddities from Acid Mothers Temple, background harmonies from early 70s pagan-folkers Bobbie and Jon Seagroatt of Comus, and even an incantation from the legendary Peter Daltery of late 60s psych gurus Kaleidoscope. ¬†Expect the unexpected here, all ye who are gathered. ¬†This one will truly be a journey you’ll want to ride along on.

Sunstone has 300 copies of the record after the ‘buy’ link. ¬†Take a listen to Feathered Serpent HERE.
