Dronehead juicy fruit

Hailing from Uruguay, Las Cobras is the sonic lovechild of Sofía Aguerre and Leandro Rebellato. The duo just dropped their debut-album “Temporal” about a week ago via Fuzz Club Records, and it is good. It is REALLY good.

I first heard the single “So Much Love” a few months back, and I was blown away by the hypnotic, repetative, fuzzed up groove.  Been eagerly awaiting this album ever since, and as anticipated it is a total blast, pure juice for any psychtooth dronehead.  Deep drones, whirling atomspheric synths, groovy bass, dual girl/boy-vocals, fuzz, reverb, motorik beats and loads of tremelo. There’s an element of exotic, Latin psych in here that shines throughout on the album, something that ads a level to the experience. Highly recommended!

If you know Fuzz Club Records, you know their products are crafted with the uttermost TLC.  Expect 180g wax, quality pressing in a thick, sturdy gatefold cover. Another pearl in your collection, nothing less.

The Details

We're absolutely delighted to welcome Las Cobras to the Fuzz Club family for the release of their debut LP Temporal.

Las Cobras is a two-piece band hailing from Canelones, Uruguay that's comprised of Sofía Aguerre and Leandro Rebellato. Despite being a totally new band, forming in the summer of 2016, this album is certain to pin the duo firmly on the radars for psych-heads across the globe. Still fully immersed in their latin roots their groove-ridden, mystical psychedelia is totally enthralling - a hypnotic journey through warped synths, tropic percussion, lysergic bass-lines, smoky vocals and chiming, fuzzed-out guitars.

The album will be out May 19th and the first press is limited to only 300 copies. Nice gatefold cover with 180g coloured vinyl.

Price $32.5
