Manchester psychedelic dreamgazers Frankie Teardrop Dead have returned for their highly-anticipated third full-length, a quick follow-up to 2018’s cool-as-shit All You Need Is Love and Fucking Peace. Despite what their band name might suggest, Frankie Teardrop Dead create blissful jams loaded with psychedelia’s strongest qualities. They’ve tread through stoned-out jangle pop in the vein of Brian Jonestown, drone-saturated trances from the school of Spacemen 3 and moody surf numbers stirred with a switch blade.
Their new album is called Plane Eclipse and it will thrill your damn brain cells if you’ve still got some. Little Cloud Records only got 50 copies of the album for statesiders.
