RIYL: Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You, God is an Astronaut
Label: Headless Queen Records
Oakland post-rockers Wander emerged from their human shells into radio waves around year 2013. Since their genesis, they’ve released two full-lengths of swelling guitar-centric expeditions reminiscent of early Explosions in the Sky and This Will Destroy You. Their third album is called March and will be out in just a few months. In the meantime, the 9-minute title track has materialized on their Bandcamp page, a rollercoaster of spiraling walls of atmospheric noise and anthemic guitar melodies. Give it a listen below.
The band has 500 copies of the album on a gorgeous splatter and color-in-color variant housed in a holographic cover with a foil finish. For a mere $25, that sounds like a steal!
