RIYL: And So I Watch You From Afar

Vasa is an instrumental post-rock/math rock band from Glasgow, UK. What sets these guys apart for me is that rather than lay back in a groove for 3 minutes like some of their contemporaries, Vasa doesn’t have time for games – they have to keep moving like intergalactic sharks.

I hate trying to describe bands because my interpretation may be completely off but here it is: it’s like a futuristic space odyssey with breakdowns. I would assume that if you are a space pirate, there are many heroic moments throughout your day where intricate guitar lines and breakdowns are needed for your soundtrack. So if you are a space pirate, or identify closely with one, I would suggest checking this out.
