Science Of Silence Records has always put forth some damn good records when it comes to the more post-rock/metal inspired stuff out there today. We’ve definitely seen them pop up on Sly a few times with various bands (Junius, Set and Setting, and If These Trees Could Talk).

One of their latest records is from a band called Pray For Sound out of Boston, MA. Entitled Dreamer, this record saw mastering done by Nick Zampiello (Caspian, Pelican) while mixing was handled by a few of the band members. With a sound that holds true to the ethereal elements of post-rock while also pushing aggressively forward… I can’t help but be entirely thankful to have stumbled across this one. If you’re into that post-rock delicacy with a heavy grip… this one’s most definitely for you. Each track provides a depth that will push you onto the next… only wanting more as the end draws near.

With influences that include Explosions In The Sky and Porcupine Tree… this records stands solid as an eclectic endeavor that proves a meandering trek all the way through. Absolutely check this record out.
