Just over 10 years after their breakout album “Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair” La Dispute is still showing that screamo is not dead, but kicking in our door at a moment we need it most. The first single released (“FULTON STREET 1”) really hypes me for the release, as Jordan Dreyer swings between a quiet angst that grows into full on emotional screaming that crescendos with the backing guitars. This album looks to be a continuation and a turning point, so make your way over and pick it up before it’s gone.
