With a much heavier side than the previous post conveyed, Fade showcases Sharp’s vast instrumental skill while also finding moments of ambient breathability throughout. Resonating strongly as a truly solid post-rock release, Fade carries in a direction that just makes sense for Cloudkicker’s progression when considering the records leading up to this one.
