Tim Burgess’ voice sounds like The Sea and Cake’s Sam Prekop and Mojave 3/Slowdive’s Neil Halstead mixed together and the result is pretty easy on the ears and above all, relatively distinct. His solo album, Oh No I Love You, was met with great reception and Lambchop’s frontman Kurt Wagner, along with R. Stevie Moore, members from Factory Floor and My Morning Jacket, threw their hats in the ring to help out. This year’s Record Store Day had an extended version called¬†Oh No I Love You More as a limited 2xLP release in the UK only. If you’re outside of the UK and missed out on that, hopefully this signed single will somewhat make up for it.¬†“The Economy” was the third single off of Oh No I Love You. Along with it being an earworm, the production just sounds fantastic. Interestingly enough, with the current USD to GBP exchange rate, it comes out to exactly $10 on our end. Listen to “The Economy” below via the Spotify stream and see what you think of it. Cheers!
