CHVRCHES, in the middle of a whirlwind tour, took some time in Germany at the famed Hansa Studios (birthplace of albums from David Bowie, Depeche Mode, and Nick Cave) to record new versions of 5 tracks from their newest album “Love is Dead” in a more stripped down, personal approach. The songs promise to be a reinterpretation of some already killer tracks, and will lend themselves to be re-read in new context.
