Paper Bag Records has announced the fourth repress of the debut LP, Hometowns, from Toronto’s The Rural Alberta Advantage.

This album gained the band international exposure in late 2008 being selected as eMusic’s featured artist of the month. Subsequently signing to Saddle Creek Records, the band saw themselves touring much more widely than ever before.

Limited to only 300 copies, you can purchase this record by itself or as a bundle with the repress of Departing (also on a green vinyl, fourth press).

“The Toronto-based trio, led by born-and-bred Albertan Nils Edenloff, has created an affecting debut that’s full of nostalgic songs about hometowns (hence its title) and heartbreaks, marrying salt-of-the-earth acoustic rock to energetic rhythms and grand orchestral arrangements. Even Edenloff’s nasal, impassioned singing and lyricism are practically naked in their straightforward sincerity.” – Pitchfork
