Wow. 10 years. It’s unbelievable that much time has passed since this epic release. Well, if you haven’t seen, this is all over the internet, in 3 different variant, thus far. One variant, sold out, is for Cherry Tree Members only. I accidentally let my membership lapse, so I’m currently kicking myself in the face multiple times a day, because, well I have the time to do that. The other two are not so limited and one is oh-so expensive. The VMP vinyl, numbered to 1500 was set at $60 because “they just charged us a lot for this one wholesale.” per VMP rep. The other, which looks to be an even wider release is set at a reasonable price, $37.50 (4AD is cheapest I believe) and it looks pretty awesome. Thus the dilemma, more expensive = more rare, or cheaper & cooler looking = ¬†less rare. I chose the latter, but you get to decide. Links are below:
