The Line of Best Fit explains Salt Cathedral‘s sound as “wistful harmonies marry with jangly guitar riffs and airy, percussion to create a sound in the vein of Local Natives and even Yeasayer.” I’d personally describe them is a floaty, percussive indie pop band with some talent in catching you and never letting go. The two songs released so far, “Move Along” and “Take Me To The Sea,” echo this sentiment very well. Vocal melodies of soaring and addictive qualities should nearly be enough to interest you, but, for the strong-willed, this may be a simple indie tune to kick back to.
