If you’re in the mood for a heavy-lifting read, check out ‘Depersonalisation’s Wikipedia page. Â Whoa.
Brisbane 4-piece Nite Fields have the right kind of sound to contextualize the meaning of the word.  Reverb is aplenty here, so if you’re in an out-of-body mood, let Nite Fields’ post-punk shimmer lift you into the mesosphere.  This is a Felte Records joint, so fans of Chameleons UK, Echo and the Bunnymen, and that beloved Manchester gloom will find plenty to love here.  Chris Campion’s brooding vocal on You I Never Knew reminds me a bit of The Church’s classic Under the Milky Way.  It’s the perfect prescription to a cold, dank afternoon.
Also featured on Felte Records’ store page is a Nite Fields 7”, and as of right now, there are only 5 remaining. Â You can pick that up HERE.
