Those 3 mysteriously masked gentlemen are, in fact, a band called Mysteries.  How quaint.  Imagine if David Longstreth, frontman for Dirty Projectors’, was kidnapped in 1994 by Trent Reznor and his band of leather-clad hoodrats.  Instead of selling poor David off for smack money, they force him to sing to some forgotten b-sides off of Downward Spiral.

That’s the only scenario that makes sense when I listen to ‘Deckard’, the first teaser from this mysterious album created by these 3 mysterious musicians.  They clearly love early 80s industrial synth, which fits them perfectly into Felte Records’ A-list.

Will they take the masks off?  Do we even want them to?  Are they available to play my upcoming Eyes Wide Shut-themed masquerade orgy?
