Bowling Green, Kentucky and London transplants Cage The Elephant have finished their fifth studio album, Social Cues. The now 4 year old Tell Me I’m Pretty saw the band expand their sound and scope to great effect, leading to what seemed like their best work to date. Can they top that? By the looks of the first single, I’d say they have a shot. Die hard fans are going to want this, but unfortunately the signed versions have sold out, leaving 1000 copies left, unsigned. I don’t know what they are thinking charging 40 bucks for the unsigned, but to each their own I suppose. It does come with 3 ‘limited edition’ posters. If you want to save your money, an ‘Indie Exclusive Limited Edition’ colored version is coming out at records stores, able to preorder here. Hopefully some fans will find this their bailiwick.
