Dream pop duo Bouquet, a hybrid of Beach House’s drifting reverie and Young Marble Giants’ simplistic modulations, is back with their third EP in mid-March.  Armed merely with a synthesizer, a drum machine and Carolyn Pennypecker Riggs’ supernal swoon, Bouquet’s immediacy is undeniable.  It’s the perfect comedown from those days when your kids screamed into your ears while you were trying to finish your ravioli after getting back from work, wailed the entire length of their bath while shoveling soapy water into your eyes, ripped up your original copy of Diamond Dogs while you were helping clean their room and somehow managed to disassemble the lightbulbs in the dryer while you were finding their favorite toy in the garage.

Sweet relief.  Thanks, Bouquet.
