RIYL: Animal Collective, Panda Bear, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks
There isn’t much yet about what this album will be like, but Avey Tare has his new recordĀ “Eucalyptus” up for pre-order over at the animal collectiveĀ website. I’ve done a someĀ research on what’s been going down with Mr. Portner, and from what I can tell, this album is poised to be quite chilled out, compared to some of animal collective’s latest bits, however, a song has yet to be released from the track list, so it’s really up in the air. There are some reports that it will be just as ‘out there’ as his slasher flick material. Avey first revealedĀ the album cover by sending a lucky fan an image in the form of a jigsaw puzzle. IfĀ you are into thatĀ you can go to aveytare.com and check a few puzzles for yourself. Anyways, I’ll be updating as music comes along in hopes of getting a better idea of what is to come from this album. Hidden in the website is a audio clip that is posted below. It doesn’t seem that this is going to be on the record, but who knows. NOTE:Ā Eucalyptus is ārecommended listening for dawn or dusk”.
