If you can see past the billows of smoke in front of your face, read on. Â If not, hit that thing one more time, grab a nap, and approach the screen once the room has cleared.
D.R.O dusts off his dad’s jazz and psychedelic albums for the inspiration behind DRO EP‘s spaced out beats and far out samples.  Undoubtedly influenced by The Pharcyde, Digable Planets and the early 1990s’ brand of trip hop and conscious rap, D.R.O’s high-pitched delivery effortlessly dances over his sedated rhythms.  Best consumed with some cush in your lips, your ears open and your back firmly planted on the floor, DRO EP promises to slow roast your occipital lobe and massage those auditory nerves.
This is the first ever vinyl release for Australian label Fifty Records, who have reached across the ocean for a chance to press up one of Austin’s finest hip hop artists. Â Give them some support and grab yourself a beautiful slab of black wax. Â Only 150 of the 200 records pressed are being offered on Fifty’s bandcamp page, so be quick about it.
