RIYL: Pink Floyd filtered through more amps and fuzz pedals

Label: Magnetic Eye Records

Back in 2015, Sly was introduced to Magnetic Eye Records through a similar redux album, a modern psych take on Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland.  Now, they’re throwing Pink Floyd into their catalog of hard rockers like Ruby the Hatchet, Creepers, Domkraft and Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard (holy smokes, that’s a good band name).  You’ll hear your favorite Floyd tracks filtered through some extra amps and fuzz pedals, an idea that’s been done successfully by the recent supergroup Doom Side of the Moon.

Check out the first track below and grab some delectable splatter wax after the ‘buy’ link.  The Electric Ladyland Redux variants go for $80+ now, so I wouldn’t wait around too long!
