You want a rock and roll split 12″ for 2015?  Allow me to introduce Hevisike Records’ newest concoction…U.S. titans of the stoned jam MOS GENERATOR and London ax-wielders STUBB.

The prince of darkness we know as Ozzy Osbourne has an immediately recognizable, impossibly imitated vocal, yet Mos Generator vocalist Tony Reed puts his own spin on his gutteral guffaw and throws down the f-ing gauntlet here.  He pummels, he thrashes, and he’ll shake your skull clean off its spine.  The amount of sludge in their guitars rivals favorite stoner rockers Sleep as well as Austin heroes The Sword, so if it’s muddy metal mayhem you want…look no further.

Stubb take the proto metal of Deep Purple and the early work of Soundgarden and mash it up into fine cosmic edibles.  This is rock of the high vintage quality sans hair spray, studio trickery and cheap frills.  It snarls, it slithers, and it’s gonna hurt your ears till you beg for more.

Check out some more samples of the album after the ‘buy’ link.  150 black & red copies are available still, but are going fast.  A white vinyl variant of 250 are also available for you pure souls.  Choose wisely.
