RIYL: Real Estate, live music, heroin-era Stones, riding down a desert highway with your gas needle on empty
Label: Easy Sound Recording
Out east of Portland, OR, there is a magical place called Happy Valley. And in this valley of joy there is a farm called Pendarvis. Every August, thousands of folks converge on this farm to take part in the annual Pickathon Festival.
I know what you are thinking, “I’ve been to a festival. I know what they are like.” I’m here to tell you that Picka-fucking-thon is no ordinary festival. If you like music, and you like the PacNW, then you should definitely do yourself a favor and get out to it this year.
This is the next release in the ongoing Live at Pickathon vinyl exclusive releases. This one has cheaper versions available on either black or white vinyl. That being said, we are focusing on the more expensive, more rare, and dare I say more sexy Black and White Hand Splattered Variant! Limited to 100, this will surely sell like hotcakes. They sent an email out to the Pickathon mailing list, so that means the Pickathon hardcores all know about it, or are about to find out about it.
Unlike the last Woods live LP that I wrote about, this one will actually get sent to you.
