RIYL: Be Your Own Pet, Diarrhea Planet, Jeff the Brotherhood, Useless Eaters

Label: Romanus Records

We’ve been spoiled by the onslaught of so much quality garage punk over the last decade that it’s easy to forget how little of it there was back in the mid-2000s.  We can thank Nashville for dishing out some of the early adapters like Jeff the Brotherhood, Be Your Own Pet and Those Darlins along with the second wave of Natural Child, Diarrhea Planet and most certainly, without a hint of doubt, them boys from Turbo Fruits.

Turbo Fruits’ first self-titled album still sounds as immediate and relevant as its release way back in 2007 and, by some odd unexplainable circumstance, this volcanic monster of a debut never saw a vinyl release.  Romanus Records is changing that TODAY, February 10th, at 3:00 PM EST.  Feast your retinas on the wild array of colored variants below and get your F5 finger limbered up ’cause it’s gonna be a mad rush for the extra limited stuff.
